This place suits me perfectly, offering free parking, great Wi-Fi, and a bar/lounge area. I remember when the staff lent me a phone charger during my first stay. A fun tip, ask for the pensioner's menu for great value! I'm coming back for Christmas.

The hotel is fairly clean and is comfortable place for a wedding celebration. The stuff has always been very helpful. The units are functional, good sized with a take away tray and shower plus private bathroom. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the food is good. I just need to say thanks a lot, will be back.

The staff was friendly all that time. The breakfast was excellent with gluten removed and toast in a sandwich box, as example, worth the price.

The meals were lovely & hot.As I suffer from multiple sclerosis, the staff very kindly had amended my booking to include disabled facilities prior to my visit..

The view from the breakfast room was fantastic and food was very good
would not book into the lodge rooms again- old and very worn would describe as old converted porta cabins. Should have discovered more before booking

Spacious comfortable room. Good food and service in dining room. Good location. Plenty of car parking.
No map of the area available at reception. Breakfast finished at 9.30am, this is far too early for people on holiday.

Breakfast was nice, close proximity to ferry terminal where I was travelling from the next day
Lodges vey basic but very expensive, only 2 plug sockets in the whole lodge so couldn't charge phone and watch TV at the same time!! Cleanliness of room was also dubious

Lovely friendly staff. Good views over the sea from resturant. Good food
Dont stay in the lodges - decor out of the early seventies (green cigarrete stained bathroom suite!!!) - carpet that lookes as if its been down for 30 years- dark peeling wallpaper. No smoke alarm - electrical testing years out of date. Would recommend hotel but not lodges

Our stay was lovely with a spacious chalet that had fine views of the sea, and we especially enjoyed the hearty breakfast with the smoked haddock and poached egg, yum! The garden area was perfect for a relaxing afternoon, and we appreciated the outdoor seating for evening drinks. The only small thing was that we wished for some extra blankets for a cozier night, but overall it was a great experience! ☀️

definitely visit place next time
Our chalet had a private bathroom, and it was really spacious. The breakfast had a great variety including freshly baked croissants and local sausages. Staff were super friendly and helped with directions for local attractions. We had fine views of Thurso Bay from our room.
